Biography:
Xianbiao Shu received the B.E. degree in Optics-Electronics Engineering in 2005, and the M.E. degree in Optics-Electronics Engineering in 2007 from Beijing Institute of Technology. Since 2007 fall, he has been a Ph.D student in the Department of Electrical-Computer Engineering at University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana., under the supervision of Professor Narendra Ahuja.
Research Description:
Xianbiao’s research interests are in computer vision/graphics/photography and compressive imaging, with special interest in novel imaging, which includes high dynamic range imaging, omni-focus imaging, panoramic imaging, light field photography and compressive imaging. Besides, he is interested in interdisciplinary research among computer vision/graphics, imaging processing and machine learning.
